We're talkin' big bucks for this one....

Ad text states the wagon was sold new at Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana, Calif. Guaranty is still in business today - been there many times.

    (y) Very nice wagon!

Funny how the guy decided to conceal the full VIN in the description (166458C122XXX) and then says, "ALL NUMBERS MATCH ON THE DRIVE TRAIN FROM FRONT TO BACK AND I MEAN ALL." And to prove it, he provides this photo:

This is one beautiful car, and very, very well equipped indeed. This one will go for big bucks, and be worth every one of them. Not often you find such a highly equipped car from that era, and certainly not often you find one in this shape with this level of equipment. Love the full gauge package, too.

Auction ended at $13,600. Reserve not met. Anybody thinking $15,000 or higher?

You could have purchased this car in 1990 for about $700. :)

Ok. Did this Caprice Estate wagon finally sell today? If so, how much?

Just curious. It looks like a very superior car. :)

Some would consider a purchase price to be a private matter. I don't care. I'm just glad we get to have another member here with a beautiful, classic wagon.

That makes 2 real nice high-optioned, high-performance '68 Caprices we have here.

Here's some posts by Rick Moroso. He's got a '68 Biscayne and a Caprice (not to mention his CTS-V wagon).
