Hi, New here, and new to the wagon scene! Just got a 68' Biscayne off ebay. Someone here has posted a pic from the auction. It has had a lot of body rust and frame rust repaired, but it is a good 15 footer, and it runs well. We have been looking for a while, and ended up with this one, until I talk my buddy into selling me his 68' Impala wagon. It is a lot nicer than ours. I'm going to look around, and ask some questions! One of them is; Where can I find a set of lowering springs for our car? I am having trouble coming up with them. It is a straight 6. I'll post better pics when the sun comes back out! Thanks, and we'll see you all! Rick
looks pretty good from here.............. as for the springs...just hack the stockers!! 1coil in front(starting from bottom)...1+1/2 in the rear(starting from top)...should drop about 2" roughly depending on how sagged they are now. oh.....
I've only heard that term once before - 15 footer. Hotrod magazine used it to describe their July 2007 Roller Painting job on a Falcon. Mine's about 15 too!
Very nice. I'm partial to those inline sixes so in my opinion that part alone makes the car. Good ole Blue Flame.
