Identical to my great aunts '78 Country Squire wagon that she bought new in December '77 - even the same color. Her husband sold it for $200.00 five years ago to someone... probably just for the engine. :(

Gorgeous car. I think this color is called something like Fawn Glow Metallic.

I saw it first about 3:15 this afternoon (first day listed). In less than 6 hours it's been bid up almost $1,000 over the opening bid. I'm guessing it's going to go for somewhere near $8K.

If the guy who bought 72KE's great aunt's car did just get it for the engine, I hope he sees this auction and kicks himself for his short-sightedness.

Beautiful CS... One of my favorite colors. Makes me ponder selling the two cosmetically challenged ones that I have and starting all over again. But if it does approach $8k, that'll be pretty tough right now.

Been watching this one since the hour it was listed. The exterior is gorgeous. Must have been garage kept. Bidding is already up over $3k.

Beautiful Squire, to say the least. I think those are optional wheel covers and they really do dress it up nicely.

Without a doubt, the very best color to show off the Squire trim. This and the bronze-ish color on Dr. B's '67..........

Wow that is so nice I'm pretty sure he could get a lot more then that I'm thinking somewhere in the $6000-8000 range.

    77 Squire

This is a beautiful Squire, but the carpet carnage on both sides does
make one wonder what the heck happened???

The difference between inside and out makes me think that there has been some cosmetic enhancement done to the outside. With the wear that is visible, I wonder if it is 201,000 or even 301,000 miles on it. The driver's seat fabric is badly worn, the carpet damage is common there on high mileage cars, as it is where feet rub and wear getting in and out a LOT of times. It is also very low on equipment. Personally, I would think it is at market value now. No way is this an $8,000 car, not with that interior and that equipment level.
