    Hey,

Does anybody know where I can find a complete set of woodgrain finish trim molding for a 1972 Chevrolet caprice estate?

there is a place that sells the wood in 60 inch panels that you cut yourself, but they are about $90 per panel.

there is a member, or a website that i saw who refurbishes those if you take them off and send them to him. Or are you adding woodgrain to a car that doesnt already have it?

    thats gonna be a tuffy.

    Hey,

It used to be on the wagon, but the previous owner removed all the trims and probably ditched them.... Too bad, hey also removed the "pins" where put the trim on...

I posted how to refinish, but you've gotta have them first.

I don't know if other models had similar chrome-finished trim, like the Fox wagons did, but you might look for some of those and then refinish them.

There might be some links in there too.

The Fox Marquis, Futura, and Cougar wagons came with similar trim to the woodgrained models (Villager and Squire).

As for pin and clip locations and types, you'll need a Factory manual for those. Some even give spacing and height from a reference point.

1972 Pontiacs must've had similar trim, huh?
