according to my owners manual, because of my transmission, the max trailer tow is 3,600lbs. we need to know how much the car weighs period and if it can be towed rear wheels down in neutral. if the car is 3000 even...does anyone know how much a tow dolly weighs? we have 600lbs to play with!

if we can do it...reserve a tow dolly and all you have to pay me is gas. i.e we leave with a full tank, we get back, you fill it up again before we part company.

umm wait...don't you have an f150? what transmission do you have?

the f150's giving me trouble....lots of it .....anything that can go wrong is.......to be truthful i have no clue what transmission it has. my friend offered me 400 for it the other day, and im probably gonna take it and not have anything for awhile i know it sounds stupid but do it before something else goes wrong so i can just get 400 for it.......the inspection is also about to be up.....infact i think it was up today !!!! (woops) .. but i know the cars gonna need two, back tires and two back rims because the owner needs them. so im gonna need to find two 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern rims

how the deuce do you get from point a to point b if your mom doesnt have a license? furthermore who is teaching you how to drive?
if you are 18 you can get it in your name regardless of weather or not you have a license.... putting it on the road can be done as well. driving it....do that w/o a license at your own peril!

I was going to give you KUDOS and tell you...you da MAN, A1. But, it seems, that after all the lining up with the owner of the Pacer and having you jump in with a more than kind offer....it's taking a slide down the tubes on 82cap's end. Cap...has this all been a dream that you can't fulfill? You had to know these things when you were asking for help.

Honestly Cap, you should let the people who are holding the car for you know it "may" not happen, it's a karma thing.....

You might want to check on state laws. In some states if you tow with a dolly (i.e. wheels on the road) you need plates on the car.

You can get a temp for that. IF necessary. Guess you'd have to check with Ohio and Pa.
