Yup. Not safe. Those plastic crates can crack under the weight.

    Please, be very careful!

Those valves covers look great on the Zephyr and your plate looks awesome Dan.

I agree, no milk crates or cinder blocks for me. :49:

Yesterday, I finally got around to installing new high beam headlights in my 86. A few years ago I installed Autopal H4 lens, but wanted to wait till my high beams were ready for changing. Well, they were in bad shape and decided to do it. Plus I had to replace the grille since it was broken, because some moron(me) left the car in neutral and it rolled into my 87 Eagle a few months ago. Since I had to paint the grille, I went ahead a refreshed the rest of the trim with some paint.

This morning, I finally reinstalled the headliner. I took it out a couple months ago to fix some leaks and had to wait for my left shoulder to be somewhat useful before doing the install. I used some vinyl material I got at the local fabric store. It will be much easier to clean. I also cleaned up the dome light with some Flitz. It looks brand new.

The wheels/tires look good on the car Fannie. I still can not believe the positive comments I get with my same size white wall tires with the wire wheels on the Safari. They suit your wagon perfectly.

Thanks Safari, I really like them too. I drove about 45mins out of the way to get the white walls...total worth it.

Okay fannie we want the whole story. Were there also jack stands at the rear of Lil Sis or just those plastic milk cartons?
Down here in the boonies milk cartons work fine for some people because the sugar sand will cushion the car as it falls.
Other wise milk cartons were made for only one real reason, storing small car parts and for sitting on as mentioed above. Even as seats there is a load limit. So itireman please add a jack stand under your milk carton for added safety.:rofl2::biglaugh:

By the way Lil Sis looks great with those new white wall tyres. ;)

Eagle the headliner looks really nice.

Yeah, I still have to give you heck for the milk jack stands, fannie

If I don't have a real jack stand handy, I can all ways find some wood........

    .....Much safer than milk crates:rofl2:

And Eagle, nice clean job on your headliner and you used vinyl you say...... I think that's the route I'll take when I do my Buicks this summer.

Everytime I see this picture it gives me the creaps. Just imagine if that guy leaned back and bumped one of those boards!
He's probably arc welding the gas tank!:banghead3:
But he does have a nice wheel chock under there.
