"Three Stooges?" Apt description. Also, that "Curly" fellow on the left looks like actor Clifton James, known for playing Sherriff J. W. Pepper in two 1970s James Bond movies.

This newspaper image is dated to April 30, 1961 by the source. It contains a Boston Police Ford station wagon on the far right blocking traffic from continuing in the southbound lanes. It appears the Boston PD was directing all of the traffic off of the Expressway onto either an exit or another roadway.

Neat picture. Not sure if about the Corvair, but I think ‘60’s the newest thing I see here.

Yeah, I don't see anything newer than a 1960. Maroon Pontiac wagon next to green/white '55 Chevy convertible, and a '60 Plymouth coming into the frame on the right. The grey Corvair is a '60 as well. I can tell by the concave front panel and the emblem.

Thank you for using the term maroon to describe that color. There are so many maroon colors today that they don’t call maroon it’s aggravating. Lol

I tried to find this scene today using google street view, and I think I have. The city direction sign (Allagash, Clair) looks to be the same. The "historic land marker" sign and the building behind it are gone. The border station is still there, and the red arrows point to what I think is the same structure in each photo.

A few Las Vegas street scenes, all from November 1985, and all taken by me.

The Dunes opened in 1955 and closed and was demolished in 1993. The Bellagio was built on the site.

The Barbary Coast is now called The Cromwell.

We stayed at Caesar's Palace. We didn't see this show, though.

Corner of Sands Avenue and Las Vegas Blvd ("The Strip") looking west. Not sure why I took this photo at the time, but I'm glad I did now. Just everyday life. The cars are on Las Vegas Blvd heading north.

Where that "House of Good Spritis" store is now stands the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Where the "National Car Rental" sign is at the far right is now a Neiman Marcus. The intersection is unrecognizable today.
