EMD LWT12 Aerotrain powercar, on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific RR (the 'Rock Island' line). Aerotrain was a GM/EMD concept, to provide very lightweight, cost-effective passenger trains to American railroads, by building a 1200 HP power car, and attaching passenger cars built by GM's bus coach division (which is why the coaches all look like GM buses, down to the slanted windows). Unfortunately, it was not a success, where passengers complained the coaches rode like the buses they were patterned after.
