I have finally gotten a chance to get going on the 64 falcon wagon i got wayyy back! i got as far as replacing the floors, rebuilding the tailgate area, the air ducts that are under the cowl, rebuilding the windshield area and installing the mustang II IFS.the areas i repaired were extremely bad and probably i should have looked for another wagon,And a wagon that would be worth the effort and expense. But i really liked this wagon,And not many people would bother with a plain-jane Falcon 4dr wagon. At any rate it has been sitting, negelected but this winter will be spent getting it ready to use as my daily driver.Yeah a daily driver,There has been/will be so many things replaed/repaired that any originality it had wwill be gone.Im trying to post pics but im having to make the pics smaller..uughh another project for me to figure out

:Welcome:and good luck on your project. Sometimes a plain jane vehicle can be fun. I suppose my 55 handyman wagon would be listed as a plain jane when it was newer. For us that's been the fun part. Don't have to worry about some rare show car.

Cat, I have news for you. These days, a plain Jane IS the rare version of a car, especially if it is kept stock!

Just imagine how rare a plain jane car is. That should make them worth twice what a big block fancy model seen at all car events is.
I thought that with my 1 of 340 UltraVan motorhomes too. Only Corvair owners and other fools want them cheap.

i will keep it plain as i can,But i really felt it was a good idea to install the mustand II IFS so i could have better steering, better brakes et..i did the same to my 65 falcon converible and i think it was the best thing i could have done.I dont really like the original ford front suspension.I wont be 'tubbing' it or getting crazy with the paint and modifications. My only other issue i have is the drivetrain.I have a 289/C4 and a 302/C4..both run but are tired. But i do have a low mileage 428/C6 from a thunderbird..I do have to consider the costs of buying a rebuilt smallblock..or using the 428 which i have virtually no cash i payed for it.I dont have alot of money to work with
