Just once, I would have loved to have had the opportunity to do an entire resto like this car has been done. You are a lucky guy, bolt (well....except for your dad...:biglaugh:). Thatcar will be perfect and should outlast you. Great job!(y)

I would never own another post '64 Ford. Just sayin.

I was at the shop tonight and checked out the progress on the primering of the car. And it was done. The filler primer was just sprayed. The last step is blocking and then spraying on the high build, before paint! Getting stoked!!

Here is some pix I shot.

Everything on this wagon has been done right. To perfection. It will be an awesome car for many, many, many years.

We are not going flat on this car. The problem now is finding someone to paint it that I can trust. And see the same vision that I see. Or EVEN open my eyes to some other idea.

    Anyway..........if I keep going I'm gonna say stuff I don't wanna, haha....

Stove, your vision so far has been a thing of beauty. This car will be stunning when it is done just because you've done it right all along the path. It's fun watching it progress. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. And I'll even have the luck of seeing it in real time at some point, which makes this all the better.

I love it when people post progress pics.
    Looking good.
    I suggest two painters.
The car is so large and depending on the weather and the paint mix the car could be too dry by the time a once around is sprayed.
Not to mention a sore arm from such a long roof.
You want any overspray to blend into a wet surface.
I'm not an expert but I was in the booth when my wagon got sprayed.
We had to keep moving quickly especially with having to reload the paint gun.
Go the extra mile to prepare a dust free spray.
Let the dust settle and paint it early monday morning.
    Just a few tips :)
