    Roadmaster.

Slam it!! Use Eibach springs, I have had the best luck with fit and ride from them.

I have dual Flowmasters on my 74' and have been very happy with them, the sound and performance has been great! I have had customers and friends over the years who say they didn't care for them for one reason or another (mostly just non-reality based expectations). I would also reccomend Magna Flow or Bosal. I would avoid Flowtech, Headman and Pacesetter mostly for quality and fitment issues. I tried several headers for my 360 and found many did not accomidate the cars low stance. Then I discovered Sanderson hot rod headers, which are essentially tubular manifolds but fit like nothing else I have seen. Most applications require no gaskets, the header mounts with a pinch fit to the exhaust ports so they seal very well and very permenantly. The header down pipe flange met my engine just above my oil pan so plenty of ground clearance. Hope this helps in some way. Dewey.

I have a '96 Roadmaster and installed Flowmaster 40's in place of the stock mufflers. I had them welded on, hate clamps, and I left the stock resonators on. It's has a nice burble at idle, a great sound when you get on it, but still is quiet on the highway.

Some people take the resonators off, and it sounds great, but you will hear the exhaust inside the car, all the time, after that, and you may get some highway drone.

One other tip, if you take some steel wool or scotch-brite pads to the exhaust tips, they will look like new. I used steel wool and then Mother's polish on mine, and man what a difference!

Oh and as for your wheel question, it's hard to go wrong with Impala SS wheels.

Also as mentioned this is a great forum but the GM Longroof Forum is good too. It deals only with these cars. I try to be active on both forums, good folks willing to help on both. http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/forum

Good luck with the project! Wood-delete Roadies are rare!

A couple of us are from Winnipeg, which is shortened to the "peg".

And of course, people from Manitoba are called "tobans"...
