    I had a great visit.
It was good to see everybody again.
I want to thank Steve and Elaine for their hospitality.
It was time to go and i gassed up before hitting the I-80.
The hoofing cost me a bit of fuel and my MPG dropped to 18.2 or 21.9 Imperial MPG
So,the plan was to stretch this fill up as far as possible.
I gassed up just outside Wharton,NJ.

The Delta Water gap was a parking lot.
Several lanes were closed for construction..

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner, perhaps we could have united 2 satellite wagons... :(
Oh well, seems like you had a fun trip.
What motor do you have that you are getting 20 mpg? I can't seem to break just over 12... (Also my carb is junk, that sure don't help)

After driving 327 miles,I had to stop for gas and a pee.Time was 6:10 PM
I made it all the way to Clayton,NY before needing gas.
    Fill-up took 15.88 gallons at a hefty 3.14 a gallon for premium.
My average MPG was back up to 20.6 or 24.7 Imperial MPG.
I kept the speed at 65 MPH.I drafted truckers,or other cars that had their cruise control turned on so i could maintain a consistent, constant speed.
That is very impressive! Keep in mind had had done nothing to the motor itself other than change the oil,and the dual exhaust.
The 3.23 gears and smallish tires kinda hurt but still, overall excellent.
The wagon gave me no problems whatsoever. An excellent car to drive--despite no radio,LOL!
I got held up at the border since the line up was loooonng. It took over 45 minutes to get through. So,whatever time i made up getting there,it was sucked up waiting in line.By the time I shut the car off,I was in my house at 7:40
My lovely wife had supper waiting and it was good to be back home!

    Cheers!!

Yeah, too bad we did not meet up.
However,I do go there at least twice a year.I am hoping to go again before the really bad winter weather sets in.
