There was a 59 Skyliner at the car show I attended Sunday.

It was a 20 footer, but despite that it gathered a crowd all day.

It had the "fancy" hubcaps, but skinny white walls.


Was pretty to neat to see one in it's natural habitat.

 

Please tell me those caps followed you home....

 

I hope you get a chance to put yours side by side with that one. That would be very cool.

 

That rim looks neglected and that dent needs to be hammered round again and then powder-coated

 

Lol no, I did not abscond with the hub caps. The rest of the order was filled and I now have a complete set of centers to make our hubcaps look more "interesting"

 

I agree. I believe it is an older restoration, but the owner obviously drives and enjoys the car, so I applaud them for that.

I don't think it's a local car. (I've never seen it before) and the plate on the front was from a car club up north. I never did get a chance to talk to the owner. But I agree, it would be neat to get the two cars in the same place at the same time.

 

I don't know about that. What if a meteorite decides to crash just right there?

 

That would be very bad.
