Welcome, Brian. Always thought I would make a good DJ. Played around with a tape recorder when I was a kid, making tapes - one of those little reel-to-reel ones. Cool Electra you have. Marshall
Just a thought but... you sure you want that Olds sedan? There are a few others around the same price..... $600, needs a couple things but there's a good chance the sedan Olds is gona need things also... http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/1988-Oldsmobile-cutlass_18110590 $800, and it's a 305... http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/Oldsmobile-cutlass-supreme_18103020 Just say'n.......
No need to fab anything up. The 77, 78 and 79 LeSabres and Electras could be had with the Buick 350. They have an "X" in the V.I.N. for the engine code. Since the frame is the same, the mounts would slide right on in, and there is nothing like the torque and smooth acceleration of that Buick engine.
TEDY, holy crap, you came through. That's an amazing step over the sedan. Didn't see it. Might have to snap that sucker up instead. Really? Slick. Might need to look into that some more.
