New guy on the block- '59 squire

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I did not get any notice of postings so am not familiar with how this site works. Better 2 months late than never MotoMike, yes the car has AC, a factory unit but was not hooked up when I bought the car (have compressor and condenser). I live in a mild climate so I can live without AC. Had lots of fun with the wagon this summer, wherever I go people comment that they never see these wagons on the road anymore, and everyone has a squire story. Here are some more pictures. The car was outfitted with a 59 Galaxie interior, even though this top of the line option was never offered on a Squire since the Galaxie was a mid year introduction, and the Squires came with the Fairlane 500 interiors. I bought the car all together and so far have fixed leaks, mechanical issues, and did some chrome plating along with the wood trim.

 

So that's what a pristine 59 Galaxie interior should look like!

Screech!! That's a great looking '59! The left most button on the radio....what is that written on it? That's a pretty young lady standing next to it also.
