Not knowing that when you bought it at the time makes all that bit sweeter.

Sounds great! Cant wait to see the photos of it! It does stink that is it a fairly low optioned car, but it is a '73 Caprice Estate and that is awesome!

I bought the 73 because it was a good deal and would fill the void of not having a wagon. Once I got it home I realized how much I liked the rear of the 72-73 wagons with the bumper pulled in tight. So I have known about this 72 for along time and have always loved it. It is NOT a woodgrain car but it is just an awesome wagon. So I contacted the guy and the deal was struck. Now I have to figure out what to do with the 73

I am really torn. The more I look at my 73 the more I love it. And for what I am paying for the 72 I could REALLY make this 73 a kick a** car. They have identical options.......NONE except for A/C and the 72 has a power tailgate. Otherwise they are identical. But I cannot see paying a lot of money only to gain the power gate. I can get new woodgrain on the 73 for under $1,000. We can basecoat/clearcoat it this winter for another $1,000 and I will have less than $5,500 in it. Attached are more pictures of my 73. It shows the rust it has and how nice the interior really is. The last picture is of the 72 I am suppose to buy. What do you guys think??????????????
