That's a nice looking CE, Lapionoman. The forum member who has been looking for a '74 CE for a long time is Ken1939.
Lapianoman, if I might make a brash suggestion, maybe it would be a good idea to separate out your part of this thread from OP Caprice Estate's? Having 2 of the same cars in same thread I know made me all swimmy headed, mind muddly for a few mins. If you PM our leader, wagonmaster, I bet he can make it happen with some of his wizardry? Both cars are very interesting and deserve their own threads I think?
Great looking car George. I also dig the Pontiac. Thanks for sharing. I love a car with a family connection.
Just thought i would come on here and say hello because it has been a while since i was last on the site. Cheers every body. George
Bad Taten, thanks for posting that photo of my 74 Caprice Estate at the 2001 American Station Wagon Owners Convention in Dearborn, Mich. I ended up winning first place unrestored in my class. There is a picture of the plaque somewhere in my photos. I appreciate the posting. Cheers. George
I know this a very late response but the comment that the 400 V-8 came in all full size wagons is not correct. The 400 V-8 small block was the standard engine in the top of the line Caprice Estate wagons. The 400 was an option in all the other wagons. The only option offered in 1974 for the Caprice Estate was the 454 big block. Cheers.
