    That Tilt-Steering wheel is the best! Studebaker's Hawks had the steering gear mounted dead-center on the crossmember below the rad to have equal steering force applied to the wheels. Too bad they were almost shutdown by the time this came out.

    The only time I was ever rejected at one of those quick-lube shops. They wanted to charge me more for the 22 grease nipples on my 1955 Studebaker President Coupe! ;)

    I've seen photographs of this car(but only in from behind views)in it's Mercury wagon prototype phase...Looks to me,somebody at Ford had been watching a Matt Helm movie,when they did the interiour design.Or,maybe,it happened the other way around.;)
