Hey...I never said I have one foot in the grave. Now, if I could just get rid of these guys following me around with shovels.......
End of a era, I never thought in my life time there would be a end to real frame rear wheel drive cars. One thing kinda bugged me though, people smiling and clapping..... I guess we know who wasn't 1 of the 1200ish workers who lost there job. These kind of corperate lay offs effect "us" (North America) as a whole, it's chain of events wheather you believe it or not IMO
Yup....I'm disappointed in Ford for sending that historic car out of the country. Actually, I'm more than disappointed...I'm angry. You have to wonder....how much did this Saudi dealer pay for that car? I can't believe Ford would send it there for the regular price rather than keep it here in the USA. Perhaps they had dealers bid on that car....that would not surprise me.
im sure they were clapping because it was the last crown vic...those people..however mindless or monotonous thier job may have been...they still knew that they built a legend!
Do not stand at my factory and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand taxis that flow. I am the yellow paint on show. I am the flashing lights atop. I am the transport of the cop. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of burbling pistons in motion right. I am the soft suspension's flight. Do not stand at my factory and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. (Do not stand at my factory and cry. I am not there, I will not die!) I am the car of the business man. I am the car of gramps and gram. I am the wedding car, the king of prom. I am your last ride be it short or long. Do not stand at my factory and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. (Do not stand at my factory and cry. I am not there, I will not die!) I am the messengers last stand. I am the big,the fast...the Grand. I am .... thats as far as i got.
