You got that right, Krash. My 300k gets 9 mpg, but when I push the petal to the floor, and the car jumps, who cares?

Well...don't give up just yet. He may be traveling there OR know someone there that takes pix as good as he does. A look is worth a LOT of pix. Especially if the pix are of all the wrong things.
I'm not a Mopar man, although, I do love these late 60's/70's T&C's, but I would guess that 68 440 to go off at around 350 HP and around 450 lbs of torque. Stock. I would guess the smog ridden 76 at about 100 less from both numbers.

You're right in the money. My 413 is good for 350HP, so I thought the 440 would be more. But not the one they put in wagons.
I was hot after a Cordoba until I found out that 400CI engine only puts out 190hp ! Talk about de-tuned!
Should I write Mike & ask about taking a look?

OK...I contacted him. I have high hopes in this car... NADA says it's worth more than the asking price, but it'll cost me $1,000 to get it here.
    p.s. Looked it up - this 440 puts out 375hp :)

Yes, in 1968 the 440 did have 10 hp more than 66-my has 365.:yippee:
And $3100 is not much for what I can see!
Especially with that 440 TNT. (if it is the original 440 eng, it has the TNT package)
