I was hoping this thread was several years old so I could read through the whole thing and get to the end. Now I have to wait. I can't wait to see some cutting and welding.

I was kind of thinking more along the lines of this guy. For some reason, I had mentally blocked out the misuse of vista windows.

 

Wait.... an Olds Vista Cruiser roof on a Dodge Chally? WEIRD! Cool but definitely weird!

With a little more refinement in the 1/4 window i'd actually drive that one ,not that i would'nt drive the challenger.

That is a pretty neat looking ride. I would have no issues with driving that at all. (I have no issues with driving uniqe looking cars) this is one of mine.

 

Not sure but the side windows don't flow...

 

I see what you mean qtr window to back side glass. But it still does not look bad and I think was pretty nicely done.

 

No, I wasn't suggesting putting the wagon roof on the Ranchero, but using the Ranchero quarters, doors, and post since the wheelbase of the Ranchero is the same as the wagon.

 

Not that it would apply here, but the El Camino doors and qtrs. are the same as my 2-dr wagon, with the exception of the door window frame and window, 64-65 Chevelle.

 

I think this is this wagon, but I am not positive. Photo taken at Carlisle this past weekend. If posting this is a problem I will delete it at your request.
