Beatiful finned wagons. It looks like you have more late 50's Mopars over there then we have in the country where they were built. Thanks for posting the photos.
I especially like the brown and beige 59 Dodge with the Mopar accessory wire wheels.

In the photo showing the white 61 New Yorker wagon, the 58 Dodge 2 door hardtop and the 59 DeSoto 4 door, theres something unique about the 58 Dodge 2 door hardtop. Its an extremely rare 58 Dodge Regal Lancer. This model came out in the spring of 58 as a special new top of the line model. It was only offered as a 2 door hardtop, and only two color combinations were available. One was bronze and black and the other color choice was bronze and white like the car in your photo. I have seen two of the bronze and black cars at Mopar shows over the years, and every photo I've ever seen of a Regal Lancer was in the Bronze and black combination (till now). Yours is the first photo I've ever seen of a 58 Regal Lancer in the bronze and white color scheme. The Regal Lancer featured unique interior trim and bronze dash trim on a color keyed interior. Outwardly, the Regal Lancer is easilly identified by the color sweep and trim that runs from the front fender, encompases the door handle and extends to the trailing end of the rear quarters. No other 58 Dodge had this side trim. Only 1163 Regal Lancers were built. Did you get any more pictures of this car?

Thanks for that information, Jim. Until now, I had no knowledge about that special model (..and I thought I knew EVERYTHING :rofl2:)

Wouldn't have noticed that the trim was any different........

Thanks for posting those Regal Lancer pictures. Very interesting cars. If one of them is in South Carolina, maybe the owner will bring it to the Chrysler show at Carlisle, PA some time. Then I would be able to see it myself.
