OK, Got it! Full torque converter from a 1961-1962 Comet/Falcon 200 CID C4. So now we look up the original part number and specify it with the local vendors. The only Ford number I've found for the Flexplate is for the F214 that we talked about earlier in the thread: C3DZ-6375B That's for a C=1960, 3= 1963. The rest is the part group for the Flywheel, Clutch, TC group. I wonder if that F111 that you found is the same as that 132F.
This site has a neat interface for these parts (and others): http://www.dmauto.com/web/dmauto/catalog/ Goes back to 1930 to 2009. Then it lets you cross-reference to other cars that it fits.
OK, I've been looking at these pics. On our engines the ring gear is fitted to the TC. The flexpate is bolted to the crankshaft!
Yeah, I looked at the DMAUTO pages. The 1961-62 Comet ring gear 132 teeth. They didn't have a 200 CID. The 1963 has but its 132, whereas the 1963 Fairlane 200 C4 has 132 and supposedly fits ours. You go to the 1978 Fairmont 200 CID and its 136 teeth ring gear, and fits back to the Fairlane. Hopefully, by the time we get through this mystery, we'll be able to NAIL IT!!!
OK, The Std tranny gets a 132S which has 132 teeth as well, and we know that yours has 132. I can't find much more info on the Bendix tooth-count. I'll go with 9. I'll take off my Starter tomorrow to confirm that.

In Toronto too! Therein ends the debate for our Fairmont C4's. Thanks Andy. We just have to get the order in and the ETA. Since its out-of-province, we may not have to pay PST.
Well, well. I found a TC rebuilder's spec. manual for TCs (all makes). They're in Tijuana, MX, but the manual is an English PDF (6.98 MB). Only one I6 C4 listed (for a 170 CID). http://reconstructorarct.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/mikeyavila.pdf And it comes from a Canadian company in Langley, BC, with a separate C4 catalog. Racing grade with racey prices (up to $1,200)!!! http://www.tcsproducts.com/downloads.html
Well, Andy, you're the wizard. He pointed me to a local shop that has, and I quote, "probably the last 132 tooth C4 ring gear on the planet". We both dug around for a converter. NONE in Western Canada. Andy's still has lots of miles.
Andy came over to help me pull the trans. We got the converter out. It goes in tomorrow for the new ring gear. Should be ready in two hours. Gotta clean up the trans a bit. I'll pick up some ATF, new front and rear seals and a pan gasket.
