Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I couldn't resist posting this photo I took this morning.

I was downtown Macon and stopped by the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds Park and snapped a few photos in front of the museum.
I always thought the museum building was neat looking; thought it'd make a cool new 'vintage' photo!

Interesting thread, I've never seen it before. I would love to do this with Fannie.

Why are you apologizing Pete? This is a great thread. I'm glad you did resurrect it. In fact, I might just add a couple of new photos myself.

I agree, any thread is not dead if we keep reviving it. I like the old buildings and things in the background with member's old cars.

A "vintage" photo of one of our "wagons":

We also have a Seafoam Green 1965 Skylark that's sort of like the OP's wagon, but ours is a 4 door sedan. We'll have to park it next to one of the wagons and take a picture. Also have a few other old Suburbans but we'll have to isolate them from newer vehicles they're parked near for the picture.

We actually do have some nice old(er) architecture around our town. I may have to try staging a few photos at those locations.
