Well, at least both wagons can cannabalize each other, depending on which one gets a taillight put out first
to the wagon train, DriverD. I love that Citroen! Always wanted one. Got talked out of one once because I was told they rust away easily. Don't know if it's true or not but it scared me away. Looks like you don't have any problem driving yours in the snow!
@Hanswurst: Yep. The Panhard had non-standard taillights (and broken too) when I bought the car. Replaced these with lenses from the Citroën DS break. Bonus: Back-up lights. Great for backing up in the dark. @silverfox: We drive the Citroën through any weather. Today: Snow and salty roads. Great traction with winter-tyres. The wings and doors were affected by rust as I bought the car. It just had had a cosmetic respray. Wings can be bought new in fibre-reinforced plastic. Doors can be re-welded. So: Now worries. This car is just to great not to drive it.
Driver D... Some cool wagons there. That Panhard is unusual. I've seen a cool vintage fiberglass outboard runabout (boat) that actually looks similar to the Panhard. I could picture it being towed by it.
Hi Hanswurst, As I wrote: "Great traction with winter-tyres. The wings and doors were affected by rust as I bought the car. It just had had a cosmetic respray. Wings can be bought new in fibre-reinforced plastic. Doors can be re-welded. So: Now worries. This car is just to great not to drive it. " The sheetmetal on a DS is very easily replacable. Wings and doors aren't welded, but bolted on. @Longroof79: Thanks! The boat behind the Panhard would be nice. or a bike on the roof:
Nijmegen, eh? There's a bar in Nijmegen which is alot of fun to party at, if it's still in business. You might get lucky and find me there, someday: http://www.theagenda.nl/v15984_cafe-the-great-pretender.html
