I remember when Earl Scheib was $29.95 or $39.95.
My name is not Earl ( remember the TV show? Something about Karma) About the second car I panted was around $25.00. This was around 1970. It was a pea green 1950 Buick fastback that I painted gloss black. Paint at NAPA was cheap fleet black at around $15 a gallon plus thinner, masking tape, and sand paper, etc.
Paid around $35 for the Buick because the battery kept running down. As long as I drove it regularly it stayed charged. Sold it in around a year for something like $250. What a deal!:rofl2:
