Hi, I'm the seller of this wagon, and yes, I'm a little surprised that it didn't generate more interest. As you all know, good ones are hard to find.

Just wanted to post to let everyone know that I sold the wagon on the phone just now to a gentleman in Michigan who will use it as family car at his summer home on the lake. It sold for $6150, too cheap I think but it will be going to a good home.

Congratulations on the sale of a very nice wagon! Hope the new owner is able to maintain its condition for another 35 years! Being an owner of 78 Estate Wagon very similar to this one, I'm pleasantly surprised that the price was as high as it was, but it is a nice example.

The original 'no reserve' auction winner had trouble obtaining financing for the wagon

Very nice wagon. Thanks for the update. I am one who thought it should bring good money based on your ad.

Seller: That Buick was indeed beautiful for the most part, but the really curious thing was the poor condition of the plastic B post cover shown in the pictures?

Yes, those b-pillar posts seemed to age much worse than the rest of the car. From what I understand, this was a weak link across most of GM's products during that era.

We appreciate your letting us know what happened with the wagon. Many of us were watching it, would like to own it, but have either too many wagons already, or a spouse that thinks we have too many wagons already, or a spouse.............
