I missed this intro completely. Must've been when my 'puter died late last week. Welcome aboard belatedly! Heck of a deal for one heck of a wagon!
That is a score! Wow. I love green wagons. Welcome aboard and good luck with your road trip. Oh, and if you can spare a few bucks, it might be some good karma to give the guy an even $500 for the car. Still a fantastic deal, and given the fact that a couple people bailed, it might make him feel good. (Just a thought..)
Thanks again all. That 71 wagon is nice. I honestly think it looks better with the rack and spoiler. But it looks good either way. Teej, the car is paid for and has already been picked up. They wanted it out of there that day. So it is now in Kirkland at a friends place. Thanks for the advertisements. I love having them. Still can't wait to get the car. I am trying my hardest to get some money together to go get it.
Just did a little horse trading and ended up with these from a friend that lives not to far from where the car is at. Hopefully it will be riding on these with a new set of Radial T/A's in the next few weeks.
Just made the order to summit and spent over $400. The BFG's are on their way. I can't wait to go get this car.
Nice job. Those wheels are going to make such a difference. I have a feeling this is going to be one sweet ride by the time you get done with it.
Thanks guys. They are 14"s for now, but I plan to put 15" slots someday. I got the tires ordered this morning and they should be to Washington Monday. I am getting excited. I need to have the car here before the 21st of July as I got nine tickets to the 311/Offspring concert complements of Toyota and need something to pile everyone into. Should be a blast.
There's no feeling like the anticipation of a new toy to play with... Enjoy the feeling and congrats!!!
It's getting closer. I am going to have the car transported to me as I really don't have the time to go get it. Plus, I work at a Toyota dealer and the transport company that brings most of our cars to us told me they will bring it to me for $385-$400. Heck, I can't fly out there and drive it home for that. So score! I am getting pretty excited. My friend Ross loaded it with all my goodies. I can't wait to get the beast down here.
I hope it is what I am hoping it is. I can't wait to take it for a drive and take my own pics of it. I just want the car bad. I bought some vintage license plates for it so that when I get it registered. It will look more like I just pulled it out of someones garage. I am very excited. If all goes well, it should be picked up this week. My fingers are crossed.
