^This. I asked for pics of the engine compartment, the rest of the interior, underneath.

It would be extremely rare and alot more valuable if it had a 383. My guess would be a 318 2 bbl, though a 273 was available as well. The slant six was available on the 67 Belvedere wagon, but probably not on one with the third seat. Most had the 318.
I'm kind of surprized that being from Arizona, it doesn't have a.c.
If under hood photos show an engine with the distributor in front, it would be a 383. If the distributor is in the back, its a 318 or possibly a 273. On the 67's with V-8's, the engine size should appear on the hood ornament.

Maybe that's why he's selling it, no a.c. Looks like radio is missing?
Would you be able to tell from pictures whether it is the 383 or 318? Or is it a freeze plug type of thing?

The distributor in front would indicate a 383. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 273 and a 318 just from photos (both had the distributor in back). Ask them to tell you what the engine size says on the hood ornament.
Meanwhile, there are websites that you can use to decode fender tags and vin numbers. With that information, you would be able to tell what the original engine size was.
Its most likely a 318 car. If the car will be your wife's daily driver, you probably wouldn't want a 383 anyway. The 318 would be a good reliable and fairly economical motor, yet would have more than enough power for daily driving duties and even for towing a small camper or boat if so desired.

Cool. It wouldn't change my mind about the car. If it drives straight like you said. You can't get much cheaper for a running car with decent interior.

Does it look like it was hit on the rear passenger door? Looks like the body line isn't there.

And how do you add the photos from craigslist in your post?

It does appear that there may be damage on the rear door. But if I liked the car, that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Although the door wouldn't be interchangable with a more common sedan door because of the window frame and glass, I believe the door skin and possibly even the entire shell from the window down would be the same as a 66-67 Belvedere 4 door sedan door. A 4 door sedan rear door will likely be very cheap and again problably not a difficult part to find.

I just "Copy" and "paste" photos from Craigslist when I post the links. I hope no one minds.

It helps when you post them. I just want to do the same thing without downloading the file then uploading it as an attachment.

Did the 3rd seat face foreword, do you know?
I imagine it does since the tailgate opens from the center. If it faces foreword is the second row split to allow someone to climb in the back?

This would have a rear facing 3rd seat, thus the rubber "steps" on the rear bumper. I believe some GM wagons of this era had forward facing third seats (Vista Cruisers for example). Those cars had split second seats that folded forward to allow access to the third seat (still seems it wouldn't be easy climbing back there). Most Mopars and Fords of this vintage had rear facing third seats, though some of the larger Ford models had two sideways facing seats in the "way back".

Anyone know the laws regarding car seats in rear facing third row?

That's not a real light hit.
