I spent most of this week sanding and buffing this HUGE roof. I finished it today and although it is not perfect I am happy with it (especially since I had to paint it twice). I am very tired of sanding and buffing but when you can't afford to pay someone else to do it you have no choice. I am just glad I have the space and knowledge to do it. [IMG][IMG]

Really nice and be proud of your work because you did it. The most important person to make happy is you. To many just write checks and never know what it involves. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

That's very true, one of my favorite parts of this old car obsession is taking my car out when it's finally done and people talking to me about it. It feels very rewarding to say I did it all myself. I do sometimes get tired of doing the grunt work that is nothing but manual labor and not much fun but you have to do the not so fun stuff to get to the good stuff. I like the design and creative part of the hobby. That's why I usually do mild customs instead of original restorations.

I am on the home stretch. I got the passenger side painted yesterday and I am homing in on the correct "stance".

Looking good. I'm digging your stance. Looks just right, to me!

Any updates on this project? I'm eager to see how it's turning out.
