2013 Cheers for the New Year

Well we are 12 days in and I'm still enjoying my nog. I almost forgot about it, but I found it hiding in the back, behind the milk. And after a check there is still a little flavoring left to...what luck! A little nog nip before bed.

 

Oh gosh fannie - we looked this past week for more and alas, none to be found. Oh well, only 10 months and 20 days till it comes around again.

That gives me just enough time to lose the weight I put on from this years serving.

Mind you, with all that walking you are now doing and will be for years to come, you can afford to have a wee bit more.

 

12 day old Eggnog? That's yellow cottage cheese by now!
We never did get any eggnog this season.

Lift that last glass of eggnog high.
Drink it down, chunks and all.
That's all there is so don't ask why.
There ain't none left at the local Mall.
Hold your nose ignore the smell.
Savor the taste even though it looks like HELL.

Big Blue Bettie is back. Hello everyone, I haven't been on here in months. Hope all is well and life is good

 

It's almost time again.

Last year we started this thread to see how many members we could get on line at the same time to bring in the New Year. We purposely picked a day a week after the Holidays because, well, folks are busy.

So the task here folks is to come up with a date then spread the word by Pm-ing a member to lett them know what we are doing here.

So are we game or what.

 

I missed it last year. Not sure what would be a good day/time for everyone. I don't have any particular plans for the next few days, so I'm open.....

Damned ribs still hurt...stupid lack of balance from booze.

 

Little tip on the eggnog - when getting it at the store, always reach in the back of the cooler for the freshest stuff. Wife pulled out a quart at the store yesterday. Had 'Jan 5' on it. I put it back and got the 'Jan 8' stuff.

 

We keep forgetting to buy eggnog. Durnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn !

 

This was our time schedule from last year, I'm thinking it worked well. So how about Sunday, January 5/14 at your respective time we once again meet here to try and get as many members as possible logged in at the same time. Try to bring along a toast with or without peanutbutter.
