That same eBay seller, a big diecast distributor (diecast_online), is doing a landside business in these 1:24 1979 LeBaron wagons!

Just about every week (or more often), he has a bunch of white and burgundy LeBarons up for auction (with a $39.99 Buy It Now price along with the regular $19.99 starting price).

Lately he has been getting some other colors. Yesterday I saw a metallic blue LeBaron, and I bought it right away. After that, I asked him if any green ones were eventually going to show up. He said there were no green ones planned as far as he knew so far, but he would have some metallic red ones coming soon for auction.

That was news to me (the other colors, blue and red)! Do any of you know of these other colors showing up in the LeBaron wagon lineup? I sure hope a GREEN one comes in the future--I'd snap that one up immediately, because my parents had a green '78 LeBaron wagon when I was a kid.

So I wonder, just what new colors will show up, besides the blue and red ones?

So far I've only seen the tan and red ones offered.

Can you post a picture of the blue one for us?

They are on the shelves at WAL MART now! I've already bought one and modded it. Unfortunatley, do to its design, I cant slam it Like I want with big wheels (door hinges protrude into fenderwells:banghead3:

The 4th car I owned as a 16 year old was a 1979 T&C in copper. Paid $350 for it, it had cold air, was cold-natured, and was previously owned by a Russian immigrant. I'll be looking for a copper colored model in the future. White, maroon, green, blue, those are fine but mine was copper with tan leather. It'd have to be just right before I part with $40 or so. Reminds me, junkyard gave me $75 for my 1:1 scale LeBaron back when.
