1974 Chevrolet Vega Estate

    It would not have most of those parts when I got it anyways. I would drive it till the 4 banger popped and (worse case scenario) buick V-6 it OR (BEST case scenario) Get another early 60's era aluminum topped 300 V-8 and go play eat the vette. Altho I have always pondered the buick Grand National drivetrain :)

    Grand National power transplant and do nothing else to it. That would be FUN!!!! I love these Vega wagons

    I have the motor mounts and dual exaust manifolds to bolt it right in. For a regular V-6 that is. the 300 will bolt right to those mounts and you use the manifolds on it.


    I've had 18 vega's hell still have the panel delivery panels too and the STEEL rear spare tire cover from one too.

    Just an observation. I am glad to see that it looks like Chevrolet "recycled" the wheel covers from a 1964 Corvair Monza and used them on that year's Vega wagon model. In 1975 they just put the same exact ones on the Monza. That worked even better because Chevrolet did not have to alter a thing.
