I like that '73 Country Squire commercial! It's fun.
    A loaded CS w/ mini-vents! I'd love that!

    David :)

HA HA HA HA, thanks Norman. But the first two links, I made them. The second was my '77 CS while I was at Western IL U. There is another where I take it around town a bit.

But thanks for the other links.

Man, your '78 is impressive. Did you refinish the lighter wood trim too or were they NOS?

The '77 was real purty. Hopefully her 'organ' donations are keep the faith! :D

Interesting way to do a Junkyard video - before and after. Good idea. ;)

Thank you Norman. The '78 trim surround was redone in shelf contact paper. The original was looking like it was a suntan pealing and I had some rolls left over from "rewooding" my '77.

As for parts of the '77, yes, they live on in the '78. From the interval wipers, heater core, trim, and various other bits I had pulled.

That junk yard I go to. I was there a few weeks ago. I have been going there for 5 years. There is this walkway I have to use to get in and out. My buddy who I took to show this rare place, stopped to look at a early '70s Chevy van on the pathway. I looked past the van and spotted the front clip of a '75 LTD.

I went in closer (mind you, its a swampy and heavy brush area) to see what was hidding. It was NOT just a LTD, it was a '75 Country Squire and two others with it. 5 years I had walked past these and never saw them. So next time I'm there, its gona be a Country Squire fest.

Did you use a heat gun to wrap around the trim? It really looks professionally done.

I was gonna go do my Junkyard fix run yesterday, but I bought a new Storm door and had to install it yesterday for this current lightning storm. I told Andy about it and he called me Stormin Doorman... :rofl2:

I go cross-eyed and my hair falls out if I don't get my JY fix.:rofl2:

Always amazing the stuff you find when they let you explore through their yards. My wife came with me the other day and stayed in the car. The guys were pulling in, stripping down at their cars to get their coveralls on and she had her own strip show! :D

I swear some guys just go to the yards for a good time through a live museum!

I love the country squires, My mom had a powder blue 73 with the big motor in it, and we went from coast to coast with me riding in the jump seats. I learned to drive in it. My dad had a burnt orange 77 LTD he drove.

Excellent videos, FWN. I'm loving your '78. Gorgeous. Did anyone notice the video of that white '78 with 4000 supposed miles on it? We were talking about it a while ago.

Great videos guys. My folks pre F85 wagon was a '58 Ford Country Sedan I believe, it was white with red interior, I was pretty little at the time and don't remember anything more about it.
