I knew it. I knew a flipper would get it.

It don't have tilt wheel, that kills it for me. lol. Power windows/locks are a plus.

I agree with the price of resto. I paid $4k for mine in '07 and have spent another $2k on it easy (engine and tranny rebuild, exhaust system and it still needs about $2k more in body work/paint, plus about $250 to have the rear main seal replaced.

Mmkay, you could always go down to your local Chevy dealer and order a new one. It will come in similar condition with all of the same documentation as this "one owner" has got.

Sometimes some very special cars do come along, and this is one of them imho. The only thing missing for me is the lack of full power gate but in this case, it is not a deal breaker.

Yes I agree Swanny, 8 grand would be a great buy, and really they would have got 8 for it without even trying. The fact is, they didn't try in the first place!

This was a real bargain at $5900 originally on CL. Too bad a SWF member could not snag it. It's a great looking Chevrolet. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Just because it costs that much to restore doesn't mean you can expect to get your money out of it.

Well I tried, but it was sold. lol. I was going to buy it and sell mine.

Oh well, it didn't work out for a reason.

If I was a millionaire, I would pay $15k for that wagon. ;)
    - heck, I would give him $30k for it! :D

eBay listing ended. Guess we can assume it did not sell - expect we'll see this very desirable Chevrolet wagon again at some point. (y)

If I were looking for a wagon I would jump on it even at 12.5K.
    It looks like new!

No and I was all set to try to buy it at $5900 and sell my '72. I had a feeling a flipper would get it and not someone that truly loves these cars. I would give $10k for it, but it needs to have tilt wheel. That is an option that I love on mine.

I notice that this one has carpeted cargo area... was this optional on the Chevy wagons? Mine just has a metal panel on top.
