Up for sale is a 1968 Ford Torino squire which is a pretty hard to find wagon. This is a mid size car, much like a fairlane. It has a strong 302 with a tight shifting automatic transmission. The body was rust proofed at some point in its life, so most of the major places cars like this rust are very solid. It runs good enough that I trust it to put my family in it and drive around. It is a fun car to take out on the weekends and it goes down the road well. It has a brand new duel exhaust and decent tires.

To be clear this car is a bit of a project. You will be able to drive it and enjoy it from day one, but you will want to rebuild the carburetor and do a basic tune up on the engine. I may go ahead and do this soon, if I do I will edit the ad. The only rust area on it that is bad is under the cowl. It has filled with leaves or dirt and rusted to the point that water leaks into the car when it rains. I found this out shortly after I bought the car and have since kept it indoors. Also because of this the fuse box needs to be reworked. All lights work but the radio and other accessories do not because of this. The interior and exterior are basically subject to your taste. It has a great dash and back seat, but the front seat needs recovered and it needs a headliner. Outside wouldn't take much to be ready for paint if you so desire, it is very straight.

It may sound like a lot but I really think you could do worse. I've just tried to list everything bad so its known upfront. It really is a great car and if I didn't have so many cars and so little money to spend on them I'd love to keep it and go through it.

If you like it don't be afraid to make an offer. Worst I can say is no. Clean Georgia title in my name.

Very well written ad, and I like how he ends it with the comment about the worst he can do on an offer is say no. Classy.

It's an unusual car at a decent price. Too bad about the rust below the windshield.

I thought I recognized the seller's house/driveway in the pics. I just realized this is the guy that I bought my first wagon (77 LTD II Squire) from. I verified it with the phone number in the ad. I still have it in my phone. His name is James, and he's a member here (James278). Last time he was on here, he had just bought a '65 Country Squire.
