I got you. Hope it works out for you, should be a good trip. And milder weather then too.

The plan is to take 3 days to drive the ~1200 miles of non-interstate to get home. If all goes well, we'll be home on the 18th. You'll pass me if you take I40 or I75. I'll keep an eye out for the parade.

Maybe we'll see you at some of the local shows or the Rod Run if we get out of this pandemic.

Karen and I will be coming down probably on the 15th or 16th. Instead of driving our Falcon, I'm thinking about bringing the Crown Vic...Moby Dick, the Great White Whale! We'll be coming south on I75 and north on I24. There won't be any parade until we hook up with the others in Tullahoma. We may have 3 Falcon wagons and a Falcon hardtop in addition to whatever we bring.

Sounds like a great time! A little too far for me to bring the 63 Falcon Ranchero though :(

I don't know about that. Karen and I drove our 65 Falcon wagon from Virginia to Sacramento and then north almost to the Oregon line in 2017. You have plenty of time for a leisurely trip if you start now...BTW, the FCA National meeting next summer is in Texas. You could make that more easily.

 You are absolutely right. It is feasible. However, at this time it's not practical. So I'll have to wait until I have a little more free time.

For some reason it took a long time for me to find a good VIN guide.

    6P72X------
1966, Twin Cities MN, 6 Pass. 4 dr., Country Sedan, V8-352 with 4 bar. carb.

I bet this car hasn't been more than 250 miles from the assembly plant - YET.
