Please be aware that this person was very rude and crude when I inquired about the car. I asked them if they were the original owner. I got a reply of"DUMBASS". I wanted to know so,I could ask if they knew the history of the car. I replied that they were very rude in calling a 60 year old lady that. I told them I believed in karma, what goes around comes around. I told them have a nice life. They replied with calling me a "MORAN", telling me "it did not matter how many owners a $8000 car selling for $6000 had". Sounds fishy that someone would get SO angry, just from being asked if they were the original owner.

 

Damn, and here is me hoping that a new 76 caprice had surfaced!

 

There was a '73 Chevelle advertised locally about 3 months ago. Didn't list a price, the ad said "reasonable offer". I called. The pictures shows the car in primer, needs interior work, and says needs new tires. I asked if it runs. Yes, and it just passed emissions. I told her I'd like to come by in the morning with my truck and trailer, and asked what time would be ok with her. She flew in to a rage, accused me of wanting to "steal the car". She said I'd probably try to get it for $100.00. When I responded that her ad said a reasonable offer, which I thought would be something of $1000 or more, she called me a thief. I wished her good luck. The car is still on CL.

Wow seriously, time can be so cruel! Erin Moran is only 3 years older than me and I am hoping I don't appear anywhere near as shocking as that when I am 53, but you know what they say about sticks and stones though!

Someone has posted a nice looking 75 for 2600.00 obo. My wife says I should call her back and have her look at that posting. I think I'd rather buy the 75, then go by and tell her what a POS her's is.
