I recommend a bowl~roll cage and a guard plating underneath. The bowl roll cage will land your vehicle back on its wheels in most situations as well protect the structural integrity. The plating will help keep those pesky zombie body parts out of your vehicles intermal workings.
Zombie Apocalypse? I would merely escape to the ocean in my Dobbertin Surface Orbiter. Maybe find a deserted island..... a Even in a zombie apocalypse, ou gotta have some STYLE...........
Doc, I wish I had internet at home. Im on an old cell phone right now. I have sooo many pictures you should see... Soon...
Not a bad idea but its gonna get hung up on stuff..Those big hoops sticking out like some kind of apocalyptic hoop skirts. HOWEVER, you are touching on an idea that I had of an internal and external cage frame structure this protects the vehicle from outside impact PLUS protects its occupants. ALSO, there is one thing that in a zombie apocalypse that is more dangerous than zombies and that is your fellow HUMANS! There are bad people all over and I aint interested in becoming thier cabin-boy...
Hey Krash... that is Rick Dobbertin's surface orbiter that he was going to drive around the world. He was close but he hit up against something pretty hard to overcome: Hurricane divorce came in and destroyed his bank account. Yep... it'll do it everytime! He made it from a stainless steel milk tank from a dairy tank trailer.
HEY TEDY... sorry about maxing out the connection speed.. I will try to keep it visually civil..For your trouble I offer up a squirrel! Thats Willie the Irish squirrel havin a pint..
