You know, guys....it's a little ironic. Exactly 10 years ago today, November 29, 1999, I was fighting for my life in a 13 hour surgery. The worst a human can have according to my surgeon....who is THE world renowned vascular surgeon. If I didn't kick ass too I wouldn't be here today to enjoy the thrill of a new wagon. I'm thankful for the borrowed time.

Then think of that wagon like a birthday present to yourself.
You were patient and searched hard. You've earned it.

Isn't funny how life turns out? And you scratch your head and ask "How in the h**l did that happen?"

None the less, congrats on the new B body! She is one SHARP SHARP gentle giant. I am STILL waiting on my '96 Roadmaster but I have waited since the mid 80s (I was 6-7 years old), so I think I can wait a few more months.

ahh thats right....sorry mike forgot you werent here for the winter car debacle. i bought a 1994 chevy caprice off craigslist for $500 (then dumped $1000 in repairs into it) it has the L99 though (baby LT1 ) 200hp 230lbs-ft

the whole thing was a nightmare and i put much more into it than the plan ...its a sore spot with jenn too! put a new opti, waterpump, thermostat and housing, rear brake line, muffler, 2 rear wheels (those were free)4 tires. it still needs: idler arm and center link, rear springs, and a drivers seat.
and we call her the shipwreck because its crusty underneath...like a shipwreck!
i guess i just look at it as i saved an old full frame car from demo duty...as thats what they guy was tryingt o sell it for.

Wow, SF, congratulations! That wagon looks absolutely mint and how cool is it that it has the SS grille and emblems!! See that, good things come to he who waits, and you sure have been waiting, but it looks like the wait was well worth it. Best of luck with it.

OH. I don't think you overpaid either. That's a lot of wagon for $5,800. And it's fuel injected too.
