Ok here is what I am doing. I have posted a thread with a poll asking who would like to attend the New Jersey show. I am also going through the member list from the beginning and asking all those in the northeast if they want to attend. I could be doing this for some time. But here is my idea. Since the New Jersey show is on the same weekend as the Dearborn show(right?) Maybe if someone takes up and equal task of contacting midwest members we can then say we as a forum took two shows and flooded them with our members. It would be cool if we could get 10-20 of our members at each show which would be an increase in their shows of what 25%? How cool woulkd that be? If not we fall back to Carlisle.
You make a VERY good point, ross. I used to sell at shows so I could travel the circuit and frequented the shows, and others like them, that you have mentioned. I just love old cars and love to see the kinds of things you pointed out. The type of shows you mention are far more interesting than a brand only show for example. Although, I don't like the auctions for various reasons. The big, all inclusive shows are by far the best. Stuff from the beginning of the automobile on up to anything and everything. Some of which I had never even seen....and I've been around cars a long time. When I started this thread I was thinking of these kinds of shows and hoping to meet as many members from here as I could. But, like I said, can't satisfy everyone. I will probably have to attend more shows than I had anticipated. Some to meet members and some to see some of the fabulous cars that are out there. Post up your list, ross, I have one too but I have to get it back from a buddy.
Maybe but I am already up to Blackfoot in the member list and have gotten 2 responses to the thread from members that I don't think are posters in this thread.
LMAO...well ....you are a true trooper wagon guy Stick! I appreciate your work on this. Something to think about....lol....from the looks of the show that you showed the video of....it was in a parking lot. If your plan DOES, indeed work, and I hope it does, we may flood the place and they won't have enough SPACES!! LOLOL What are you sending to these members? We should get a coordinated effort here.

Ok, so I'm in for the ISWC show. (99% sure) But does anyone have some contact info for the ISWC show? Nice to know where exactly it is (someone said Cherry Hill), admission price, food on site, when it starts, ect... This thread is also for the ISWC show. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7692 Also, I'm tentative for the pumpkin run. Gotta see as we get closer for sure though.
