My wagon won best of show at a local cruise night saturday night! Even a with at least 100 cars there! Very proud. Pretty sure I had the only wagon though.

Friday my son and I washed the wagon, and Saturday went to a Heritage Day thing and put it in the car show. It was a small show only 20 or so cars, but we had a great time. Oh, and my dad carried his truck. Nice to have my son, my wife, my dad and I all together!

Here is an update for the previous post. Friday while washing car, looked at the rear tires , and.....slick. Seems like I just looked at them good! Anyway, fronts are ok, not new but not worn out. Made some calls looking for some pull offs or used. A 245-45-20 is not common here. Cheapset new ones were $380 for 2. Just happened to call a shop that had 2 from a new Camaro 255-45-20, they fit and he charged $80 for both installed and balanced!

    Fixed AC on Matador

Finally decieded to actually turn on AC to see if PO was correct when they said AC worked. and it worked great,( had been too cold back earlier this year)..So that warranted a 3 core radiator, so I took one from my stock and did a simple switch over and ready now.. the wife is happy too..
This car is stock except for the mag wheels.. ( rare for me) stock ! kinda hard to type that word.:naughty:

    Beezy day - I'm whacked.

Tuned up the Safari - may need to replace the master cylinder, will check that out tomorrow, otherwise should be ready to go. Sounds good, I think I've got it figured out. Bloody Edelbroke carb was driving me nuts.

Put the Torque Thrust II wheels on the wife's Blazer. Looks good, should have left them on from last year. Changes the whole look of the little black bomb.

Took my pills, went from feeling like my wife should just go ahead and call the coronor :whew: to a slight happy face :yahoo: and finished up sealing some areas on the top of the Airstream, mowed lawns (riding mower out back, self propelled out front), started to disassemble steering wheel on the Safari and whammo - my little happy pills ran out of steam - or was it I ran out of steam :banghead3:- whatever - wife has sticky note with the coronors phone number by the phone to remind me that I'm pushing the envelope big time.

Tomorrow, if I can move that is, I'll finish the steering wheel/horn repair, I'll slap insurance on the Safari, and take it for a toot, but of course only after I've checked the master cylinder and if necessary replaced it. An ugly job, one of the few things I hate to do on a car is play with brake fluid. Master cylinder is only two years old, already replaced one that was on for a couple of months and crapped out - dang cheap overseas crap. I've got to find a supplier with better parts. I'm tired to having to do things two or three times because the parts house supplies the cheapest pieces of crap available. There, got that out of my system (y)
