sweet! they all come out great with lots of elbow grease and clay/wax/cleaners!:bouncy:
After my 1700 mile trip 2 weeks ago finally got to wash ,clay and wax the car. It is really easy to do all once the car had initially a thorough once over. Also wiped down the engine compartment again. Did not take pics but I know it is clean :)

Mine never had been done before so it took two days to do it. Lambs wool cut first then to the polishes and sealants then waxes. Slept good those two nights LOL

easier with Porter Cable orbital; and Makita 7" polisher - Polisher to do all the heavy lifting, Porter Cable to finish.
Makita will burn thru you paint - so if you never used - practice.
To cut - I use 3M products, wax - only use Liquid Glass

and OH - love your car

Mak your spot on with the tools for fixing a paint job. I've got a harbour fright 7" variable speed and a porter cable dual action. I've got a few lambs wools for the 7" and that does 99% of the work on dead paint. The dual action is for the micro polishers and sealers and waxes. Love them both. I wet sanded my Cadillac with 1000 then straight to the wool and worked my way down. Everyone thought I got it painted.
I used 3m fine cut with the wool, on the wagon, it's expensive but if you want it done right it's the only way to go. I'm a new fan of auto glym super resin polish. My area auto store had it on half price, so I thought I'd try some, once it's on it feels like the paint is a 1/2" thick.

nice job on the trim, have never heard of glym super resin polish, looked on line - about same price as Liquid Glass

Started with this way back on my Black 73 Alfa Spyder - works great on dark cars, easy to use and last forever. I have tried and ton of products over the years ( on my wife's car) and nothing beats this stuff.
even works well on the "wood"

It took me about 22 hours when I clayed, compounded and waxed the Suburban some months back. Maybe I wasn't using the most aggressive compound, I didn't use fine sandpaper then either.

Hopefully I'll have the window track reset in the Suburban soon, get it out of the garage so I can finally put new gas in the Wagon. Not driving it's a bit sad, I don't even have 1 mile on it since the oil change in May!
