Once you view a post, it will no longer show up as new post. However, it will show up when you click recent posts.

The Auction/Craigslist Forum needs an overhaul. There's stuff on there from years ago. Once a CL Ad disappears, the post is useless.

Those old ads are used as an archive by a lot of members here. A lot have the pics from the ads saved to this site and are the only ones to refer back to, gone forever otherwise. They can be really informative if the car comes up for sale again, if you're just curious, or doing research.

Not arguing old ads but when a post contains a CL listing and it expires, there is no picture or info to obtain.

From this time forth this post will show up as a recent post. Unless you repost it as a new post. Of course that would also be a double post which is a waste of good cyber space.
Someday soon it will fade into oblivion as an old post. Maybe even as a useless boring old post. That is unless I comment then it's an interesting old post.

I have viewed your post which is not a new post but a recent post to me. Even in oblivion, your post can be revived as a recent post from which others may post their replies.

Yet in oblivion, or until waurantee expires, it will remain a useless post, here only for us bored members to tease and downplay while the originator should be in his garage finishing up on that old '59 Chevy.

This post remains recent but not forgotten, as much as it really should be!
