Check out the rest of their inventory, Blackie. I can help if you find something there.

    I like it too David.

Wife does not and it will mainly be her car to drive back and forth to work and all that jazz. So if she does not like what I do, we have to come to level ground and the Crown Vic is just the car, that or a Caprice. Problem with the Caprice, the only ones we can find with a decent price is the L99 4.3 motor and I am not having that. I also do not like the rear of the Roadmaster sedan, that is the biggest downfall of that car for me.

With the CV, she would not care if it was a P71 Police issue or the P74 Civy issue. But I on the otherhand, demand it being a P71. So we will both get what we want.

Mike, I just really looked over that site and I thing the wife and I need to go see about getting a loan and taking a train to Chicago! They have a HUGE selection of CV's and several that I want to look at in person. I just checked Amtrak and its a 9 hour ride and only costs $88 for the 2 of us. Thats very doable!

Ah the SWMBO factor... She Who Must Be Obeyed.:thumbs2: Those little feet get noisy when they get stomped.:biglaugh:

I give mine her dues though, she gets a bee in her bonnet and mostly proves out to be right spot on! Not often that she insists, but I still put up resistance to see if she means it, then I look for why it makes sense. They may not have the logic to their demands, but its under the hood somewhere. :taz:

If you DO go there, Blackie....let me know your schedule. I may be able to drop into the lot and hook up with you. It would be fun to meet and look at those cars if I could make it when you will be there.

Thanks Andy, but with that shopping list it sound like an overpriced Pile of Chit to me. P71 Crown Vic is what we will likely be getting.

Mike, thats a deal brother! Would be a treat to meet up with ya and have your previous expertise dealing with car lot guys, as well as an extra set of eyes to spot any quirks I might miss. I called up the wife and she is all for it. We need to go hit up some banks for a personal loan real soon. Probably right after we get our taxes back, so we have money for a down payment to sweeten up the deal with the bank. My credit is shot, wifes is perfect. I always swore I would never make another car payment, but if its small with a decent rate, I will consider it. If you do make it, lunch is on us and hopefully you could meet us at the Amtrak Terminal. I was in Chicago once, for a week back in spring of '92 for our class senior trip. I am up for some Ribs, Chicago style.

Whats the name of the place Mike? For the life of me I cannot remember the place we ate at. It was petty large and while we were there, we met the mayor of Chicago, Da Bears coach Mike Ditka and "The Fridge" William Perry. I was only 18 but we had the coolest teachers and advisors who let us drink all we wanted. I was drunk off my ass and stuffed to the gills with Ribs and BBQ Chicken, probably why I can't remember the name of it, LMAO.
