    Bidding up to $40,100 and reserve still not met. I don't think the seller is going to get $75k. At least not on eBay.

    Here's a 1952 Kom-Pak trailer that sold for $26,400 in 2010. Just the trailer, not the car:

    And a '54 that didn't sell, along with a Ford delivery wagon, for $47k (the pictures don't show up on the site):

    And a trailer only for sale for $3,500. Although I doubt that it's still available, or selling for that price, if there really are only 16 of these trailers left in the U.S.:

    These Kom-Pac Sportsman trailers were apparently manufactured in Medford, OR Marshall. Maybe some hunting in the woods around Medford would reveal some field finds. :)
