Obviously seen the 'Harold & Maude' Jag XKE Hearse before, but didn't remember the '62 Squire in the garage. Wonder if it actually was used in the movie on the road........

    Old Granville Street Bridge, 1952

View of the old Granville Street Bridge (1909-54) from the north end looking south. Photograph taken around the time of the commencement of construction of the new and current Granville Street Bridge (opened Feb. 4, 1954). The old bridge was similar to the Connaught (Cambie Street) Bridge (1912-84) both having central pivoting swing spans.

    Connaught (Cambie Street) Bridge, 1961

Center, swing span section of the Connaught Bridge (a.k.a. the Cambie Street Bridge), north view. Photo illustrates newly added safety markers to help guide motorists past the narrow-laned span section. Trolley buses (streetcars, originally) passed in the center lanes. April 11, 1961 photograph.
The Connaught Bridge opened in 1912 and was closed, demolished and replaced by the current Cambie Street Bridge in 1985. The Connaught Bridge was similar in design to the second Granville Street Bridge (1909-1954).
