Look at how neat those decorative lamp posts are.
I wish we still made stuff that looked like that.

 

They are; when Everett rebuilt their sewer and storm water systems starting back in the Nineties, it required Hewitt Avenue to be rebuilt, from Grand to Broadway Avenues. Once all the underground and concrete work was done, they installed older-design twin lamp posts, which I thought brought some character back to Hewitt and the downtown core.

 

Interesting. How do you get into the wayback?

Artsy photo. Two postwar 50s Fords on the extreme left and the prewar 30s car on the right (do not know about the age of the car on extreme right) with a gulf between.

 

Either through the camper, or from the rear side door. The camper SITS on the open tail gate for support in the rear. There's a bit of stand-up space inside, with a sink and (maybe) a port-a-pottie. NOT something I would have bought back then...... but for a fisherman with a trailered boat, it might have fit the bill.
