    Only 275 of those 1960 Edsel wagons were ever built........ 216 6-passenger versions, and 59 9-passenger versions.

    I have pics of one from a car show on my laptop. It was what the Edsel brand needed, but the Whiz Kids told the powers that be to cut bait and run.

    The Edsel brand was officially killed even before the 1960 models were released for sale. They had already started building them though on the assembly line, and dealers still needed time to shut things down, so they went ahead and had a short production run, with the last 1960 Edsel coming off the line in late November, 1959. A total of 2,846 1960 Edsels were built.

    Total Edsel production for the three years was 118, 287.

    1960 is the newest thing I’m seeing there. Neat picture. Lots of cars I would sure love to have there.
