A rare 1948-1953 Chevy Suburban station wagon in a campground setting. Priceless

Hanley Dawson Cadillac on Ontario (150) I think. That was a Chicago landmark. For so many years. The Mercedes dealer wasn’t too far from there. Buy a new Caddy then walk across the street to Lawry’s for a martini and a fat steak. The good Ole days. He had another dealership at 630 N Rush as well.

Maybe...... The big rock kinda looks like Morro Rock in Morro Bay, CA., but I don't know for sure.... Lots of rocks like that along the Oregon coastline, as well.

Can anyone hear the 'Jaws theme' in the background?

This pic was posted a day or two ago on a auto-related Facebook group page. Some commentator was strongly insisting that the '56 Chevy 2-door was a '55 Chevy 4-door. Kept saying others were wrong. He may not have been looking at a large size image, like the one posted here. He was sure adamant about it, though.

Even if you can only make out in a small picture the side spear trim screams ‘56. People get fixated on their opinions. I was at a car show a few years ago with my ‘57 Mercury Montclair. It was a later year ‘57 with the duel headlights and almost got into a knock down drag out with a man that insisted it was a ‘58, and that I was basically stupid for not knowing that duel headlights were on all ‘58’s and had mis-marked my card. I remember what my dear mother used to say. Never try to teach a pig to dance. You get dirty, amd the pig resents it.

God County Squires were everywhere! ‘73-‘74? Looks like a little orange Vega Camback in the near distance.
